Industrial Photography/ Power Plant

Picture
Large metal structures, both new and aged, twisting and climbing their way into my focus and becoming something beautiful. I have a showcase of images that embody just what it is I am talking about. This look at industrial photography turns to the factory, power plant floors and beyond to find so much of the overlooked and forgotten beauty all around us.  FOR MORE PHOTOS, CLICK HERE

Historical Photography/ Fort Worth Stockyards

Picture
it is a one-of-a-kind location with a variety of attractions that make history come alive.  The Stockyards is home to the Fort Worth Herd, the world's only daily cattle drive, where Texas Longhorns are driven down East Exchange Avenue by cowhands in period dress. Rodeo action and Wild West shows take place year-round in the Cowtown Coliseum and live music is featured at Billy Bob's—the largest honky-tonk in the world.

Historical Photography/ Historical Central Texas

Picture
Buildings were the dreams of Texans in brick and mortar. These modest (and occasionally) grandiose dreams lost to disaster have inspired me to record what remains - before progress claims the survivors.

Arena Photography / American Airlines Center

Picture
Principal design work was carried out by David M. Schwarz Architectural Services of Washington D.C. The American Airlines Center was designed to be the heart of a new urban, commercial area designed to reinvigorate the city of Dallas called Victory Park. The facility itself features a conservative, traditional design with sweeping brick façades and smooth arches, and has been graced with a number of awards. The interior includes retractable seating, public art and a state-of-the-art technological arena. Because of the Quonset hut-like appearance of its roof and the fact that American Airlines holds the naming rights some fans have come to refer to it as "The Hangar".  FOR MORE PHOTOS, CLICK HERE

Urban Photography/ Dallas Downtown

Picture
Downtown Dallas achieved notoriety on November 22, 1963, with the assassination of President John F. Kennedy.
The building boom of the 1970s and 1980s produced a distinctive contemporary profile for the downtown skyline, influenced by nationally prominent architects. At the same time, the establishment of the West End Historic District in the 1980s preserved a very large group of late 19th century brick warehouses that have been adapted for use as restaurants and shops.FOR MORE PHOTOS, CLICK HERE
